Cleveland Tree Coalition Grant Program

The CTC will release a new grant program application on August 5, 2024. Applications are due September 5, 2024 by 11:59 p.m.

Through NOPEC’s Energized Community Grant program, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), and a federal earmark from Senator Sherrod Brown, the CTC is offering a round of grant funds. This grant is available to local non-profit and public organizations for tree planting and maintenance within the City of Cleveland. Eligible projects include: tree planting and supplies (staking, mulching, fencing, etc.); cost for establishment (watering, soil, etc.); and free tree giveaways (limit 50 trees).

Priority will be given to projects that plant trees in City of Cleveland neighborhoods with low canopy cover, incorporate proper site selection, and include a comprehensive planting and three-year maintenance plan.
